HEARTBREAKING STORIES

Picture
The Ghosts of War: The Medical Doctor's Guide to Service-Related Disability Letters that Work contains heart-rending stories of brave enlisted men and women who suffered what Dr. Hassan calls invisible wounds, sustained either in battle and in peacetime service to their country.

Invisible wounds often show up or become troubling after a veteran’s release from service, manifesting as medical or psychological problems. Some veterans from wars in Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, or World War II were written off as malingerers or head cases by other doctors before a thorough medical and psychological evaluation was done and their service-related disability identified and proven by Dr. Hassan. When examined in context, the medical facts showed these veterans to all be entitled to service-related veterans disability benefits.

Listed below is a brief sampling of some of the veteran’s stories featured in The Ghosts of War: The Medical Doctor's Guide to Service-Related Disability Letters that Work.  Cases presented are divided into two types -- service-related mental issues, and service-related physical issues. Listed below are some of the titles of individual soldier's heartbreaking stories which give the reader an idea of the conditions involved.
